Only what you allow in Profile → Privacy: separately for friends and for coworkers from your places, with quiet hours and location only at work. Ghost mode makes you disappear completely. The server enforces the rules, so nobody can get around them, not even a place admin.
People → Places → New place. Then open the place and tap Send on the Invite card, or show the QR code. Whoever opens the link sees what they're joining.
